* Timing of tillage may vary depending on environment and equipment. Planting rate should be 5-15 percent above normal to compensate for potential stand loss. Plants should be limp or less turgid (with dry, warm, and sunny conditions) to reduce damage. Chickpea, dry bean, fababean, field pea, lentil, lupin, soybean, and sunflower plants should be dry before tillage to reduce spread of disease.

** Regrowth should occur if aboveground stem severely damaged or removed.
